Britishmuslims is an on-line organisation that has been set up to give the basic message of Islam to all people. It has been set up by the Muslim community of Great Britain to fulfil the obligation of giving this message as stated in the Holy Qur'an:

"Invite (all) to the way of your Sustainer with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Sustainer knows best who have strayed from His Path and who receive guidance"
(Holy Qur'an - Chapter 16, verse 125)

"Thus, have We made of you a community justly balanced, that you might be witnesses unto all people, and the Messenger is a witness unto you all."
(Holy Qur'an - Chapter2, verse 143)

We aim to bridge the existing gaps between people of different faiths to help bring us together to a better understanding of each other and thus create a harmonious living environment.
